Job summary

The Goddard School in Houston, TX is seeking New Toddler Assistant Teachers to support our comprehensive educational program and help children grow.

As part of our teaching team, you will advance development, provide positive guidance, ensure licensing compliance, carry out lesson plans, foster family relationships, and maintain a clean classroom, all while having fun with the children.

Qualifications

• Experience caring for toddlers is required.
• Ability to support emotional development and provide positive guidance.
• Familiarity with Texas childcare licensing standards.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing trainings.

Responsibilities

• Advance children’s intellectual, social, and physical development.
• Support emotional development and provide positive guidance.
• Ensure compliance with Goddard quality standards and licensing.
• Execute lesson plans for assigned groups.
• Establish and maintain positive family relationships.
• Maintain a clean and presentable classroom.

New Toddler Assistant Teachers generally earn between $14 and $16 an hour depending on professional experience and educational background.
