Job summary

Scottsdale USD 48 Laguna Elementary School in Scottsdale, Arizona is seeking a Childcare Provider 2 for the Toddlers program. You will assist the Childcare Specialist with planning before and after school activities and supervise students.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, childcare experience, and applicable credentials. First aid/CPR certification is preferred and you will complete minimum training hours each year. Schedule is 7:00am–12:00pm, five hours daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency and six months of qualifying childcare experience.
• At least 12 college credits including 6 in early childhood education and 6 months qualifying childcare experience.
• N.A.C., C.D.A., C.C.P., or CPC credential; or an associate or bachelor degree in early childhood, child development or closely related field.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain good rapport with students, employees and community.
• Supervise the children at all times.
• Administer first aid when necessary.
• Maintain acceptable behavior standards and ensure policy compliance.
• Annually complete a minimum of 18 verifiable training hours.
