Hannaford Supermarkets is seeking a capable leader to manage the Hannaford To Go Department at Store 08361. You will drive department operations, supervise staff, and ensure high standards of customer service and safety across appearance, sanitation, and food handling.

The role requires strong leadership, effective communication, and the ability to coordinate schedules while maintaining records and certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to lead and direct others.
• Understanding of store operations preferred.
• Effective communication, customer service and selling skills.
• Effective interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Must meet minimum age requirements

Responsibilities

• Lead the Hannaford To Go Department operations in accordance with established department standard practices, in the absence of the Assistant Store Manager-Service.
• Lead excellent customer service and goodwill by role modeling and providing high standards in customer service and sales building.
• Support that department conditions involving appearance, safety, sanitation, and food safety are maintained at the highest level.
• Maintain accurate records and assist in making sure all yearly certifications are up to date.
• Utilize company tools such as: financial reports, scheduling, productivity, ordering and business information systems.
• Assist in creating and maintaining effective work schedules to meet customer service standards as well as associates' personal needs.
• Use good judgement in the delegation, assignment, and follow up required for the efficient performance of the department.
• Provide real time coaching, feedback, and assist with the performance management process.
• Assist in training and developing associates to meet department needs.
• Maintain solid communication in the department and with store management.
• Observe and follow all company policies, established standard practices and legal requirements.
• Perform all other duties and projects as assigned.
