Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a Front End supervisor to lead the Food Lion To Go operations at Hemingway. You will hire, train, and develop department associates, ensuring efficient online order processing and customer service excellence.

You will schedule staff, maintain daily workflows, monitor inventory around perishable items, and work to meet budgeted goals while upholding safety and company standards. Strong leadership and certification in food safety are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lead and manage a team.
• Strong understanding of store operations and merchandising techniques preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Registration as Certified Food Safety Manager or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Manage Food Lion To Go operations, including hiring, training and developing department associates.
• Supervise performance and conduct formal appraisals for direct reports.
• Maintain effective work schedules to meet online order traffic and minimize customer inconvenience.
• Provide leadership to promote our Guiding Principles, Core Values, Vision and Strategy.
• Support achievement of budgeted financial and operating results.
• Partner with department managers to handle fresh orders and out-of-stocks properly.
