The role, supervised by board-certified psychiatrists, includes coordinating patient education, maintaining treatment notes, and updating referring providers.

The ideal candidate holds an Active Medical Assistant certification with at least 2 years of clinical experience, insurance knowledge, and EMR/EHR proficiency.

Qualifications

• Active Medical Assistant certification is REQUIRED.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience is REQUIRED.
• Experience with government and commercial health insurance.
• At least 2 years of marketing or networking experience.
• At least 2 years of experience with EMR/EHR systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Apps, and basic data management software.
• Excellent organizational skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to explain TMS procedures and follow established protocols.
• HIPAA knowledge and confidentiality compliance.
• Detail-oriented with accurate clinical documentation.
• Experience with referral reporting and marketing efforts preferred.
• Experience working with TMS trainers and support services preferred.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within a specified area.
• Bilingual candidates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer daily TMS treatments for Major Depressive Disorder under supervision.

Mid Cities Psychiatry in Euless, TX, is seeking a full-time TMS Care Navigator (TCN) to administer Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) treatments for Major Depressive Disorder. This innovative role, supervised by board-certified psychiatrists, involves administering daily treatments, coordinating patient education, and maintaining comprehensive treatment notes. The TCN will also update referring providers on patient progress, collaborate with medical colleagues, and attend regular business and clinical meetings. Additional duties include scheduling TMS sessions and managing patient follow-ups.
