Responsibilities

• Search, analyze, and evaluate records on title to land.
• Prepare title memos summarizing ownership, encumbrances, exceptions, and findings.
• Identify title issues and assist in clearing title, working with title companies, agents, and project team members as needed.
• Assemble and maintain organized, accurate title files.
• Maintain flexibility and a cooperative working relationship with all project team members.
• Reports to the Title or Right of Way Supervisor, as assigned.

Universal Field Services is hiring a Remote Title Researcher to support our Oregon and Washington right-of-way projects!

SUMMARY

This position supports title research and review for the consultant team on assigned projects in Oregon and Washington, serving as a knowledgeable resource across title ordering, preliminary title review, title research, and title memo preparation. An experienced background in title examination, abstracting, or right-of-way title work is highly beneficial, as this role requires familiarity with real property records, vesting, easements, and legal descriptions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
