Job summary

Great-Lakes-Auto-Auction is seeking a Title Clerk to process and update vehicle titles in our database. The role involves ordering titles through various states, maintaining the accuracy of title records, and generating required reports.

The position requires good communication skills, familiarity with Indiana BMV requirements, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Office duties include answering calls, assisting customers, and supporting accounting tasks.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication required.
• Prior title-processing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Indiana BMV requirements, lien releases, title corrections, and out-of-state transactions.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain titles and order titles through various states.
• Process titles and update the database on all title issues.
• Prepare and issue reports as required.
• Answer incoming calls and assist customers at the counter.
• Assist with office administration tasks and cover main office phone.

Skills

Excellent verbal and written comms

Prior title-processing experience

Knowledge of Indiana BMV requirements

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
