Job summary

Attorneys Title Holdings seeks a detail-oriented Title Assistant to support underwriting for residential and commercial properties. You will draft commitments, review title opinions with closing attorneys, and issue policies while applying premiums and coverage rules.

You will handle premium payments, respond to underwriting inquiries, and prepare monthly reports for title companies. A title insurance license within three months is required. Benefits include health coverage and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Education: Minimum of high school diploma or GED.
• Experience: One to two years of office administrative or insurance industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Draft and recommend title commitments and policies.
• Review preliminary title opinions with closing attorney and underwrite; apply requirements.
• Issue commitment and revisions as requested before closing; issue policy after final title.
• Answer requests for searches, premium quotes, and underwriting questions.
• Receive and apply premium payments and prepare bank deposits.
• Prepare commitment revisions and policy endorsements.
• Compile information for monthly reporting to title companies.
• Maintain notebook of underwriting requirements and exceptions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
