Pioneer Title Agency is seeking a Title Officer to review chain of title and determine any effects on a property, then write letters of commitment to insure and issue title policies on recordation.

The role includes reviewing title chains, running index searches, generating tax search reports, and preparing title reports. You will collaborate with escrow staff and respond to customer questions with attention to detail and professional communication.

Formación

• Typing 40+ WPM required.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• High level organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Working knowledge of title examining procedures and related documents.

Responsabilidades

• Review the chain of title for problems, liens, or encumbrances.
• Run general index on all names on the title order.
• Generate property tax search reports from the courthouse.
• Write title reports showing defects or encumbrances.
• Prepare letters of commitment to insure and issue title policy.
• Collaborate with escrow officers to support title processing.
• Answer customer questions related to title examination.
• May be assigned additional tasks to support department goals.
