The role requires typing at least 50 wpm, high attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information. Proficiency in RamQuest, Resware or Qualia is a plus; functioning in a fast-paced team is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a typist, data entry clerk, or in a similar role.
• Ability to type and process title documents accurately.
• Ability to read and understand Closing Disclosure and Settlement Statements.

Responsibilities

• Transcribe and type title documents from various sources with accuracy.
• Prepare, format and proofread title reports, deeds, and legal descriptions.
• Maintain and update databases and filing systems, both physical and digital.
• Handle confidential information per privacy regulations.
• Assist with administrative tasks and respond to information requests.
• Communicate with title agents, underwriters, and team members to clarify discrepancies.
