Old Republic Title in Naples, FL seeks a Policy Typist to accurately prepare title insurance documents, endorsements, and preliminary reports. You will transcribe from handwritten drafts, format reports, and maintain precise records while adhering to privacy and compliance standards.

The role is in-office, Monday–Friday, with potential overtime. Strong typing, attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Office are essential for success in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Type a minimum of fifty (50) words per minute and maintain accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communications with advisory staff.
• Ability to read and understand Closing Disclosure (CD) and Settlement Statements.
• Working knowledge of title insurance policies and endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Transcribe and type property title documents from various sources.
• Prepare, format, and proofread title reports, deeds, and legal descriptions.
• Maintain and update databases and filing systems (physical and digital).
• Communicate with title agents, underwriters, and team members to clarify discrepancies.
• Ensure documents are processed in compliance with regulations and company standards.
• Assist with administrative tasks and drafting correspondence.
• Overtime may be required and attendance is essential.
