Job summary

Saint Louis University seeks an Equity Officer to lead investigations into discrimination, harassment, and bias involving faculty, staff, and students. The role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local laws and assists in training on nondiscrimination.

As a Deputy Title IX Coordinator, you will help develop, review, and distribute the university’s Affirmative Action Plan and collaborate with HR, Student Development, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; JD preferred for preferred qualifications.
• Experience conducting confidential investigations in academic or employment settings.
• Knowledge of Title IX, discrimination, harassment, and related laws.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigations of discrimination, harassment, and sexual assault involving faculty, staff, and students.
• Prepare written investigative reports for review by OSRCS, OIED, OGC, or others.
• Advise on rights under federal law and university policy.
• Develop campus-wide training on nondiscrimination and harassment laws.
• Serve as Deputy Title IX Coordinator and assist with Affirmative Action plans.
