Job summary

Liberty University, Inc. is seeking a Deputy Title IX Coordinator for Investigations to oversee investigative processes and ensure compliance with federal and state laws. You will review policies, supervise investigators, and advise on complex cases, including when acting as a decision-maker or facilitator of informal resolutions.

The role requires extensive Title IX knowledge, strong writing skills, and the ability to train staff while aligning with the university’s mission and CSA obligations.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of campus investigations and federal discrimination law.
• Knowledge of Title IX, Clery Act, VAWA, and related state laws.
• Experience in higher education Title IX investigations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct oversight of investigative processes for Office of Equal Rights and Title IX matters.
• Review and update policies and procedures for investigations.
• Investigate cases, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Provide training for investigators and serve as liaison to staff and administration.
• Assist with Clery Act compliance and respond to interim measures.
