Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least five years of relevant work experience, or Juris Doctor degree and one year of relevant experience is required.
• Ability to travel to various locations across Utah.
• Knowledge related to Titles VI, VII, IX, VAWA/SaVE, ADA, ADEA, FERPA, and the Clery Act.

Responsibilities

• Receive incident reports of discrimination and/or sex-based harassment, including sexual harassment, sexual assault, relationship violence, sex-based stalking, and discrimination based on a protected class and respond appropriately.
• Apply university policy by, among other things, conducting a prompt, equitable, and impartial investigation into formal complaints, including identifying and interviewing parties and identifying, gathering, and assessing information relevant to the investigation.
• Complete a preliminary and final report for formal investigation. Review written reports of other Office staff.
