Illinois Tech seeks a Title IX Specialist to support compliance with Title IX, Clery, VAWA and related state laws. You will manage investigations, informal resolutions, intake reports, and required trainings for faculty, staff, and students.

You will collaborate with the Title IX Coordinator, edit handbooks and marketing materials, and help implement training campaigns campus-wide. Strong communication and trauma-informed approaches are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Some experience in higher education or a field related to the position (sexual assault, domestic violence, law).
• Familiarity with Title IX law and Illinois PSLHE Act.
• Ability to leverage technical resources and build technical abilities for the role.
• Knowledge of local Chicagoland resources to support the campus community is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Develop, coordinate, deliver, document, and manage annual campus-wide Title IX training for students and employees, ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
• Lead Title IX events, campaigns, and presentations throughout the year with campus stakeholders.
• Conduct informal resolutions for eligible Title IX reports and assist parties in reaching mutually agreed resolutions.
• Conduct and manage Title IX investigations, including fact-finding, interviews, evidence review, credibility assessments, and report writing.
• Maintain case records in Maxient and Microsoft 365.
• Assist with updates to handbooks and marketing materials and support reporting requirements.
