Job summary

The Idaho Department of Education in Boise seeks a Title IV-A Coordinator to provide statewide leadership, administration, and technical assistance for the SSAE Grant Program. You will review LEA applications and expenditures, develop resources, and deliver professional development to LEA staff, while coordinating the Community Schools model and Family & Community Engagement initiatives.

Travel up to 20% across the state to support Native American education initiatives and tribal consultation

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience interpreting and advising on federal/state requirements.
Ability to manage budgets and track expenditures.
Excellent written and oral communication.
Strong teamwork and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Administer the Title IV-A SSAE Grant program statewide per federal requirements.
Review LEA applications, budgets, amendments and expenditures.
Provide technical assistance and guidance to LEAs on funds use and compliance.
Develop state guidance, tools, and resources for Title IV-A.
Deliver professional development and training for LEA staff.
Coordinate Title IV-A initiatives supporting Well-Rounded Education and Safe Students.
Collaborate with agencies and organizations to strengthen student support.
