Job summary

Old Republic Title is seeking a Policy Typist to accurately prepare title insurance documents, endorsements and commitments. You will type and process documents using proprietary software, and prepare Preliminary Reports with a focus on confidentiality.

This in-office role is based in Boca Raton, FL, with a standard schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern time. Expect collaboration with escrow staff and advisory teams, and strict adherence to regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Typing speed of 50 words per minute.
• Proven data entry experience and accuracy.
• Excellent attention to detail and proofreading skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work under time constraints and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
• Experience with RamQuest, Resware and/or Qualia software.

Responsibilities

• Transcribe and type title documents from various sources.
• Prepare, format, and proofread title reports, deeds and legal descriptions.
• Maintain and update database records and filing systems.
• Handle confidential information in line with privacy regulations.
• Assist with administrative tasks and respond to information requests.
• Communicate with title agents, underwriters and team members to clarify discrepancies.
• Ensure document processing complies with industry regulations and company standards.
• Complete required compliance training and adhere to company policies.
