Job summary

The position is a ten-month, at-will, non-exempt role with hourly pay options ($15 non-certified / $35 certified). Responsibilities include maintaining confidentiality and following district policies, reporting to the principal, and helping students achieve academic success.

Qualifications

• Must be able to assist groups or individuals with academic subject matter.
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing and orally.
• Demonstrated ability to motivate students and support learning.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow district policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic assistance to tutees, individually or in groups.
• Help students develop study skills and positive attitudes toward learning.
• Build rapport and serve as a positive role model for students.
• Maintain safety and well-being of students and follow all rules and policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the principal.
