Job summary

Qualifications

• Georgia teaching certificate (may qualify with expired certificate).
• Ability to work well with students, parents, staff, and the community.
• Commitment to confidentiality and professional ethics; adhere to ethics code.
• Must be regularly at work and at the physical worksite.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide supplemental in-person tutoring in areas of greatest need.
• Use differentiated instruction tailored to students' learning needs.
• Collaborate with teachers on student needs and progress.
• Engage students in appropriate academic activities and study skills.
• Maintain records of student progress and reports as requested.
• Monitor progress and analyze data to tailor instruction.
• Participate in scheduled meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
