Job summary

L’Anse Creuse Public Schools in Graham Elementary is seeking a Title I Paraprofessional for 27.5 hours per week. The position is part-time with a salary of $17.89 per hour, with benefits including PTO, retirement plan, and paid holidays per contract.

Candidates should have two years of college credit or an associate’s degree or passing a State test; Michigan teaching certificate preferred. Strong communication and ability to assist teachers and students, including at-risk learners, are essential.

Qualifications

• Two years of college credit, an associate’s degree or passage of a State approved test required.
• Michigan teaching certificate preferred.
• Ability to assist the classroom instructor with the development and presentation of learning materials and instructional exercises.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate and work with individual classroom instructors.
• Experience working with students.
• Ability to assist academically at-risk students in a classroom setting and, in an individual tutoring.
