Nottawa Community Schools in Centreville, Michigan is hiring a 31a Paraprofessional (Part-Time) to support teachers in general education and Title 1/3 settings. 12–15 hours per week with flexible options if team hire occurs.

Starting immediately with duties including instructional support and clerical tasks. Position reports to the Principal/Superintendent and Title 1/3 Director; requires high school diploma; state paraprofessional assessment or college credits; and attendance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Be a high school graduate, or equivalent; Associate degree preferred.
• Must pass a state approved paraprofessional assessment or have college credits.
• Regular and reliable attendance, dependable work performance.
• Ability to drive a school passenger van is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with instructional plans and IEP/504 modifications.
• Support classroom instruction and supervise students during activities.
• Complete clerical tasks and attendance documentation for classes.
• Monitor safety and report concerns to the teacher or principal.
• Participate in CPI/CPR-AED/first-aid training biannually.
