Job summary

Northern Elementary School in the Northern York County School District is seeking a 10-month Instructional Aide to support students during the school year, working 6.5 hours daily from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM at a rate of $15.30 per hour.

The role includes tutoring, collaboration with teachers, administering assessments, maintaining FERPA confidentiality, and assisting with materials preparation and progress reporting to teachers and administrators.

Qualifications

• Secondary high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of college study or an associate degree (or CAPE competency) required.
• Basic computer skills and PDE clearances required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring for students.
• Perform and monitor instructional activities as directed by the Title I teacher and/or principal.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff in students' educational development.
• Assist with administration of assessments and progress monitoring tools.
• Collect and compile student assessment scores and records.
• Maintain updates on student progress and needs with teachers/administrators.
