Bristow is seeking a Title I Literacy Lab Paraprofessional to support literacy initiatives in the classroom. You will work with teachers to present material, develop instructional aids, and help students with assignments in group or individual settings.

Responsibilities include grading, administering exams, and covering duties as needed. Regular attendance and adaptability for extended hours or evenings may be required by position responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s degree from an institution of higher education or passing score from the state para‑professional test.
• Reasonable accommodations may be made; regular attendance and flexibility required.

Responsabilités

• Discusses assigned teaching area with classroom teacher to coordinate instructional efforts.
• Plans, prepares, and develops teaching aids and handles teacher copy requests.
• Assists in presenting subject matter to students using various methods (lecture, discussion, role‑play).
• Assists in preparing, administering, and grading examinations and assignments.
• Assists students individually or in groups with lesson work and learning concepts.
• Works with students and teachers to set performance goals; covers classes and duties when requested.
• Submits reports and performs other duties as assigned.
