Job summary

TrulyHired in New Hampshire is seeking a part-time, non-affiliated teacher to join St. Francis of Assisi. This hourly position is grant funded and paid per diem according to the MEA teacher salary schedule.

You will plan a program of study meeting individual needs, create a classroom environment that supports learning, guide lessons toward curriculum goals, select effective instructional methods, and assess student progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Certification per NH authorities.
• Elementary Education certification or approved status may be considered.

• Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of students.
• Guide the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum goals, and establish clear objectives for all lessons, units, and projects.
• Employ instructional methods and materials that are most appropriate for meeting stated objectives and assess the accomplishments of students on a regular basis to provide progress reports as required.
• Diagnose the learning disabilities of students on a regular basis, seeking assistance of or making referrals.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree.
• Requirements as set by the State of New Hampshire Certification Authorities and Board of School Committee regulations.
• State of NH Teacher Certification in Elementary Education (1810 or 1811) or other approved certification status may be considered.

Specific Core Function:

To help students learn subject matter and/or skills that will contribute to their development as mature, able, and responsible members of society.

Specified Length/Hours of Position:

This is a part-time, non-affiliated, hourly position. Rate will be a per-diem rate based on MEA techer salary. This is grant funded position. To be assigned at St. Francis of Assisi.
