Job summary

Oakridge School District is seeking a Title IA Interventionist for the 26/27 school year at Oakridge Upper Elementary. The role involves working with Title IA eligible students in Reading, Writing, Math, and Behavior in a small-group setting.

The position is grant-funded and not to exceed 29 hours per week over 35 weeks, with reapplication required each year. Starting ASAP, this affiliated position supports intervention outcomes within a tight school-year schedule.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate knowledge of child growth and development and its relation to learning.
• Competency in instructional strategies, classroom management, assessment and related research.
• Understand intervention instruction for at-risk students.
• Ability to analyze data to identify students needing intervention and tailor plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide Title IA interventions for Reading, Writing, Math and/or Behavior in small groups.
• Use data to guide development and monitoring of individual intervention plans.
• Collaborate with parents, students and teachers to engage in the education process.
• Monitor progress and adjust pacing relative to student proficiency.
