Newrez is seeking a Title Curative Specialist - Avenue to serve as a liaison among internal teams, loan officers, borrowers, and partners to resolve title issues and prepare compliant title commitments for closing.

The role requires reviewing title documentation, researching and resolving curative issues, and collaborating with underwriting and outsource partners to ensure regulatory compliance and timely closings.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5+ years of title, mortgage, or curative experience preferred.
• 2+ years of curative, REO, foreclosure, or purchase title experience preferred.
• Excellent oral communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a positive, customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to work independently within established procedures.

Mansioni

• Review title search materials for vesting, legal descriptions, liens, judgments, and exceptions.
• Investigate, research, and resolve title commitment issues prior to closing.
• Collaborate with underwriting to clear complex title issues and obtain approvals.
• Assist with subordinations, payoffs, HOA matters and other title-related requirements.
• Coordinate with outsource partners to prepare and quality-control title commitments.
• Order deeds and verify transfer fees; confirm transfer and mortgage tax requirements.
