Job summary

State of Oklahoma's Service Oklahoma agency seeks a Branding and Verification Specialist I to manage title branding, verify records, and research title issues ensuring accurate records for Oklahoma customers.

The role requires attention to detail, tax-law interpretation, and timely responses to inquiries. This full-time position offers a generous benefits package and opportunities to cross-train within the division.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in accounting or related field (Level I).
• 2 years of experience in bookkeeping, customer service or related work (Level I).
• Level II/III requires additional years of experience and/or education.

Responsibilities

• Review and record brands on titles to protect customers.
• Research title records, including title history and discrepancies.
• Respond to inquiries via phone, mail, email, and other channels.
• Provide interpretation of tax laws and escalate complex questions.
• Review documents for vehicle, boat, and motor titles for accuracy.
• Identify discrepancies in tax documents and foreclosure actions.
• Approve foreclosures and notify customers.
• Prepare research request documents for imaging.
• Cross-train across division sections as needed.
