Job summary

Jacksonville Title and Trust, LLC is seeking a licensed Florida title insurance agent to join our established Jacksonville team. You will verify title integrity, prepare closing statements, and ensure all commitments are met with accuracy and efficiency.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of closing experience, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to collaborate with agents, law firms, and escrow officers throughout the closing process.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Verify there are no real estate title defects or liens after property search
• Prepare closing statements and issue title policy upon review
• Analyze liens, contracts, surveys, maps and public records for ownership
• Collaborate with agents, settlement agents, law firms and escrow officers
• Ensure all documents are recorded and deeds transferred to new owners
• Meet licensing requirements; title producer license is ideal
• Maintain clear communication throughout the closing process

Our well-established team is looking for a motivated and experienced licensed Florida title insurance agent to join us in achieving our goal of providing consistently excellent closing services to clients. We are looking for someone who is research-driven, loves efficiency, and has a keen eye for detail.

• Verify there are no real estate title defects or title issues such as liens, wills, claims, deeds, mortgages, or fraud once property search is complete


• Prepare closing statements after reviewing all closing documents to ensure all title commitments have been met, issue title policy, and transfer title to the new owner


• Analyze liens, plat books, contracts, agreements, surveys, maps, public records, and leases to verify ownership, legal description, and restrictions


• Work effectively throughout the closing process with a variety of industry professionals such as real estate agents, settlement agents, title insurance agents, law firms, escrow officers, closing agents, paralegals, and escrow companies


• Ensure all legal documents at the county and federal level have been recorded and present deed to new owners


• Requirements for state licensing must be met -- title producers license is ideal


• Must be detail-oriented, analytical, and process-driven with excellent communication skills


• 3-5 years of title closing experience, abstractor experience, title examiner or providing closing services is required

Compensation

$22 - $35 hourly
