Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires NYS licensure as CLT or eligibility with provisional/limited permit.
• Experience in molecular tissue typing and histocompatibility testing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Has line responsibility for preparation and testing of tissue samples for histocompatibility testing.
• Performs HLA typing by serological and molecular methods and donor-recipient crossmatch testing.
• Follows QC/QA protocols, maintains documentation, and supports 24/7 lab coverage.
• Assists in development and updating department procedures and preventive maintenance.

Education

NYS licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist or eligible (provisional/limited permit)
