Job summary

Lifeline of Ohio is seeking a Tissue Recovery Technician to join the Tissue Recovery team in Columbus, OH. The role supports tissue recovery consistent with our mission, coordinating clinical aspects with referral centers and partner services to evaluate donor suitability.

This full-time, non-exempt position offers night shifts (7:00p-7:00a) with 3–4 shifts per week, schedule flexibility, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare related field or equivalent strongly preferred.
• Regular and timely attendance required.
• Clean driving record; must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation to our office.
• High school diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Recover tissue to maximize availability for transplant and/or research.
• Package tissue for shipment to processing facility.
• Collect donor information to ensure compliance with federal/state guidelines.
• Coordinate tissue program tasks: verify authorization, review records, arrange OR time, contact technicians, and document donation activities.
• Support packing supplies and set up shipping with processors.
