Job summary

Infinite Legacy in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Tissue Family Services Coordinator 1 to coordinate support for tissue/eye donor families under the Regional Clinical Manager. You will communicate with families in emotionally stressful times, collaborate with hospital staff, funeral homes, and donation programs, and provide trauma and bereavement support by phone.

This role requires a Master’s degree or relevant experience, 1–2 years in acute care, strong communication, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or relevant experience in social work, counseling, psychology, nursing or related field.
• 1–2 years experience in acute health care, hospice, bereavement counseling or crisis intervention.
• Ability to communicate with grieving families and collaborate with healthcare staff.

Responsibilities

• Initial contact with donor families and present tissue/eye donation options.
• Provide trauma, grief, and bereavement support by phone and connect to resources.
• Complete documentation within regulatory time limits.
• Collaborate with hospitals, funeral homes, and donation programs to support families.
• Coordinate donor management with clinical staff and registries.
• Triages calls related to donation needs and follow-up support.
• Attend meetings and ongoing education; travel as needed.
