Job summary

LifeLink Foundation, Inc. in Norcross, GA is seeking a Family Care Coordinator to support organ and tissue donation referrals.

You will coordinate hospital referrals, apply policies, and communicate with hospital staff, donors’ families, and LifeLink teams to evaluate potential donors and obtain authorization. The role requires 2+ years in a medical or social services field; strong communication, willingness to travel, and 24/7 on-call coverage are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years in a related field and experience in a medical environment or social services.
• Clinical experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate hospital referrals and evaluate donor suitability.
• Apply LifeLink Organ Recovery policies during donor interaction.
• Obtain authorization from next-of-kin using approved forms and protocols.
• Provide follow-up with families and hospital staff; participate in 24/7 call coverage.
• Initiate donor charts and collect necessary samples for serology testing.
