Job summary

Valmet is seeking a Technical Sales Specialist for Tissue Converting in North America. You will drive machine upgrade opportunities, coordinate with engineering and service teams, and own the quotation process through order.

The role requires strong technical knowledge, customer relationships, and the ability to translate challenges into value-driven upgrade solutions. Travel up to 20% across North America; location in Green Bay, WI preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of tissue converting machinery and processes.
• Ability to discuss mechanical, electrical, controls, automation and process-related systems.
• Experience reading engineering drawings, schematics and machine docs.
• Proven customer relationship and consultative selling skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Ability to travel up to 20% across North America.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with customer accounts in North America.
• Identify, develop and close machine upgrade opportunities for tissue converting equipment.
• Lead quotation and proposal development with engineering resources.
• Maintain revenue forecasts and pipeline visibility in CRM.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Service, Product Management and Global Support Teams.
