Job summary

Big O Tires in Walnut Creek is seeking an experienced Tire Technician to service and maintain tires and wheels with accuracy and speed. You will handle mounting, dismounting, repairs, rotations, inflation, and wheel installs while delivering quality customer service.

The role includes performing oil changes, fluid exchanges, TPMS calibration, battery testing, inventory stocking, and test-driving vehicles after service. A valid driver's license and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• At least 18+ years old with a valid driver's license.
• Experience with mounting/balancing and repairing tires.
• Able to perform oil changes and fluid exchanges on autos and light trucks.
• Availability to work holidays, weekends, and after regular business hours as needed.
• Reliable transportation to work.
• Ability to move and lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to meet company requirements including successful pre-employment drug screening, MVR, and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Tire care including mounting and dismounting, repairing/rotating/inflating, and installing new wheels.
• Proficient at doing fluid services and fluid exchanges.
• Performing oil changes or any type of flushes and maintenance.
• Calibrating TPMS.
• Inventory stocking.
• Testing and installing batteries.
• Test-driving vehicles after maintenance.
