Job summary

Big O Tires in Colorado Springs is seeking an Automotive Tire Technician to service and maintain tires and wheels with accuracy and efficiency. You should have a strong work ethic, honesty, and motivation to contribute to a team.

Responsibilities include mounting/dismounting tires, installing wheels, balancing, and performing oil changes and TPM calibration. This role requires physical stamina and a commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Availability to work holidays, weekends, and after regular hours as needed.
• Reliable transportation to work.
• Ability to learn new concepts and use technical materials.
• Capability to safely operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Willingness to work with hazardous materials and in outdoor weather conditions.
• Complies with PPE regulations.
• Able to stand or drive up to nine hours per shift.
• Able to move and lift up to 75 pounds.
• Willingness to complete pre-employment checks (MVR, background).

Responsibilities

• Mounting and dismounting automotive tires
• Installing new wheels
• Attaching and re-balancing wheels
• Repairing, rotating, and inflating tires
• Performing oil changes or flushes and maintenance
• Calibrating TPMS
• Inventory stocking
• Participating in training & follows safety procedures
• Testing and installing batteries
• Test-driving vehicles after maintenance
