Big O Tires is hiring an Automotive Tire Technician to service and maintain tires and wheels with accuracy and timeliness. The role emphasizes honesty, strong work ethic, and motivation, with potential for advancement within the company.

The position involves mounting/dismounting tires, wheel installation, balancing, tire repairs, oil changes, and TPMS calibration, followed by test drives to verify maintenance.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Reliable transportation to work.
• Ability to learn new concepts and use technical materials.
• Capability to safely operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Complies with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) regulations.
• Ability to move and lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to meet company requirements including pre-employment drug screening, MVR, and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Mounting and dismounting automotive tires.
• Installing new wheels.
• Attaching and re-balancing wheels.
• Repairing, rotating, and inflating tires.
• Performing oil changes or any type of flushes and maintenance.
• Calibrating TPMS.
• Inventory stocking.
• Participating in training & following safety procedures.
• Testing and installing batteries.
• Test-driving vehicles after maintenance.
