Job summary

Big O Tires is hiring an Automotive Tire Technician to service tires and wheels with accuracy and momentum. You will perform mounting, dismounting, balancing, and maintenance tasks while upholding safety procedures.

The role requires honesty, strong work ethic, and motivation, with opportunities for advancement and a team-oriented environment. Training and development are provided in a family-friendly setting.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years old.
• Willing to work holidays, weekends, and after regular hours as needed.
• Ability to learn new concepts and use technical materials.
• Capability to safely operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Willingness to work with outdoor weather conditions and potentially hazardous materials.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening, MVR, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Mounting and dismounting automotive tires.
• Installing new wheels and attaching/re-balancing wheels.
• Repairing, rotating, and inflating tires; performing maintenance.
• Performing oil changes or other maintenance tasks.
• Calibrating TPMS.
• Inventory stocking and safety procedures.
• Testing and installing batteries; test-driving after maintenance.

Skills
