Job summary
Big O Tires is seeking an experienced Tire Technician to service tires and wheels, perform maintenance, and ensure timely, accurate work. The role includes mounting/dismounting, balancing, inflating, and installing wheels, as well as fluid services and oil changes.
You will calibrate TPMS, test batteries, manage inventory, and test-drive vehicles after maintenance. We offer Kaiser medical, dental/vision, 401K, PTO, vacation, uniforms, referral program, and employee discounts.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
- Experience mounting, balancing, and repairing tires.
- Able to perform oil changes and fluid exchanges on autos and light trucks.
- Availability to work holidays, weekends, and after-hours as needed.
- Reliable transportation to work and ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Successful pre-employment drug screen, MVR, and background check.
Responsibilities
- Mount/dismount tires, balance, repair, rotate, inflate, and install wheels.
- Perform fluid services and fluid exchanges.
- Conduct oil changes and maintenance tasks.
- Calibrate TPMS and test-drive vehicles after service.
- Stock inventory and assist with battery testing/installation.
