Job summary

World Wide Tires is seeking a Tire Technician to service tires for commercial truck and equipment units. You will mount, dismount, and properly install tires and valve stems, manage tire inventory, and perform flat repairs at the shop or roadside.

The role includes documenting tire issues, coordinating with foreman or service manager for orders, maintaining equipment and shop cleanliness, and supporting the team.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) and be insurable according to company standards.

Responsibilities

• Mount and dismount tires at service station or on the road.
• Proper installation of tires and valve stems.
• Responsible for inventory of tires.
• Flat repairs at service station and roadside.
• Take photos of customer bill back tires, give to administrator with description of failure.
• Report any tire supplies or tools needed to foreman (all purchases are approved through the foreman or service manager prior to ordering).
• Keep track of company equipment and property in shop and on the road.
• Assist porter with keeping shop clean.
