Job summary

Southern Tire Mart is seeking a tire service technician who will respond to roadside and on-site service calls with a fully equipped service truck. You will mount, dismount, balance, and repair tires for passenger, light truck, commercial, and industrial applications, and perform light mechanical repairs when needed.

Inspect tires, operate TPMS, and maintain the truck and tools. The role requires strong customer service, problem solving, and flexibility to work overtime or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record (CDL preferred but not required).
• Overtime may be required.
• Experience with heavy-duty/commercial tires preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to roadside and on-site service calls using a fully equipped service truck.
• Mount, dismount, balance, and repair tires including passenger, light truck, commercial, and industrial.
• Diagnose and repair tire-related issues; perform light mechanical repairs as needed.
• Inspect tires and wheels for wear, damage, and inflation.
• Operate TPMS and other diagnostic tools; maintain service truck and equipment.
• Provide exceptional customer service with clear timelines; work with warehouse or shop duties when not on service calls.
