Job summary

World Wide Tires in Houston, TX, is seeking a Tire Technician to service tires on commercial trucks and equipment. The role focuses on proper tire installation, both at service stations and on the road, and maintaining tire inventory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid CDL and be insurable according to company standards.

Responsibilities

• Mount and dismount tires at service station or on the road.
• Proper installation of tires and valve stems.
• Responsible for inventory of tires.
• Flat repairs at service station and roadside.
• Take photos of customer bill back tires, give to administrator with description of failure.
• Report any tire supplies or tools needed to foreman (all purchases are approved through the foreman or service manager prior to ordering).
• Keep track of company equipment and property in shop and on the road.
• Assist porter with keeping shop clean.
• Wash units (if needed after scheduled work hours, with approval of foreman).

Education

High school diploma or GED

Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL)
