World Wide Tires is seeking a Tire Technician to service tires for commercial trucks and equipment. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid CDL and be insurable per company standards.
• Basic tire maintenance and shop safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Mount and dismount tires at service station or on the road.
• Install tires and valve stems correctly.
• Keep tire inventory organized and tracked.
• Perform flat repairs at service station and roadside.
• Take photos of customer tires and provide description of failure to administrator.
• Notify foreman or service manager about needed supplies or tools.
• Maintain organization of shop and company equipment in vehicle and shop.
• Assist porter with keeping the shop clean and wash units if required.

Responsibilities

• Mount and dismount tires at service station or on the road.
• Proper installation of tires and valve stems.
• Responsible for inventory of tires.
• Flat repairs at service station and roadside.
• Take photos of customer bill back tires, give to administrator with description of failure.
• Report any tire supplies or tools needed to foreman (all purchases are approved through the foreman or service manager prior to ordering).
• Keep track of company equipment and property in shop and on the road.
• Assist porter with keeping shop clean.
• Wash units (if needed after scheduled work hours, with approval of foreman).

Basic Qualifications
