Job summary

Les Schwab is seeking a Sales & Service associate for tire installation, maintenance and service in our Spokane, WA stores. You will perform tire and wheel installation, maintenance, balancing, TPMS relearning, battery testing and service driving as needed to support store sales and customer needs.

The role emphasizes excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment, with on-the-job training and opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting of weight between 35-75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain tires and wheels.
• Repair, rotate, and inflate tires.
• Attach and rebalance wheels.
• Install/relearn/calibrate TPMS as needed.
• Wash tires and wheels.
• Test and install vehicle batteries.
• Operate and maintain service equipment.

Sales & Service (Tire Installation, Maintenance & Service)

The Sales & Service position is responsible for the sales, service and maintenance of tires and wheels, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities

• Installation and maintenance of tires and wheels
• Repairing, rotating, and inflating tires
• Attaching and rebalancing wheels
• Installing/rebuilding and/or relearning/calibrating TPMS
• Washing tires and wheels
• Testing and installing batteries
• Using and maintenance of equipment
• Assisting other employees
• Test driving vehicles
• Operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services
• Providing excellent customer service, promoting store sales; using the Best Tire Value Promise to engage customers
