Job summary

Southern Tire Mart is seeking a full-time tire technician to mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires on a wide range of vehicles, from passenger cars to industrial equipment. You will load/unload stock, assist with inventory, and work with TPMS while following safety procedures and company policies.

Qualifications include 18+ years old, ability to lift 30–250 lbs, and reliable driving record. Prior tire experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience with tire mounting and balancing preferred, but not required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to lift and/or move tires weighing between 30-250 lbs. with or without mechanical assistance.
• Repetitive and sustained exertions, forceful exertions, awkward postures, mechanical stress concentrations, vibrations.

Responsibilities

• Mounting, balancing, rotating, and repairing all types of tires on various vehicles from passenger cars, light trucks, large trucks to industrial.
• Load and unload stock and assist with physical inventory.
• Work with tire TPMS (Tire Pressure Management System).
• Participates in training, follows safety procedures, accomplishes job duties, and adheres to company policies.
• Any other duties as assigned.
