Job summary

Southern Tire Mart is seeking a tire technician to mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires across passenger cars, light trucks, and heavy vehicles. You will diagnose mechanical issues on semi-trucks and trailers, perform PM inspections, and participate in ongoing training.

Overtime may be required, with a valid driver’s license and safety compliance. You’ll respond to roadside service calls using a service truck and assist with inventory counts, while maintaining TPMS and following company

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Overtime may be required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires for passenger cars, light trucks, large trucks, and industrial vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on semi-trucks and trailers, including brakes and drivetrain.
• Respond to roadside service calls using a service truck when needed.
• Conduct fleet inspections and routine maintenance.
• Use and maintain TPMS and operate safely in accordance with traffic regulations.
