Job summary

Commercial Tire Inc. is hiring a Tire Technician in Pocatello, ID. This full-time role involves mounting and dismounting tires, inspecting vehicles, and performing routine maintenance per VIR training.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License and Insurable Driving Record.
• Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
• Experience in a vehicle maintenance shop (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform tire work (both retail and commercial). Mount and dismount, air pressure checks, balancing, tire rotation and flat repairs.
• Inspect vehicles as per VIR training expectations.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and communication is of the utmost importance.
• Recommend safety and preventative services to our customers.
• Receive product into location prior to putting away.
• Review procedure, Quick Guide Parts Ordering on Treadnet.
• Perform vehicle oil changes as per VIR training standards as required.
• Assist with opening and closing of store, including EOD.
• End of shift duties completed (cleaning, finishing work, manager approval).
• Maintain facility cleanliness and organize tire and lube shop supplies.
