Job summary

Commercial Tire Inc in Idaho is seeking a Commercial Tire Service Technician 1 to perform tire mounting, dismounting, balancing, repairs, and roadside assistance for commercial and light-duty vehicles. You will ensure safety, accuracy, and customer satisfaction while working in-store or at customer sites.

The role requires basic computer skills, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to follow work orders and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record.
• Minimum age 18 years.
• DOT Driver Qualification file (q-file) and Medical Certification.
• TIA Certification.
• High School Diploma or GED (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Deliver top-tier service to customers through timely follow-ups and proactive communication.
• Perform tire-related services (mounting, dismounting, fleet checks, pressure adjustments, repairs) on-site or at customer locations.
• Respond to after-hours and on-call roadside service requests as scheduled.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and comply with DOT/ELD requirements.
• Operate tire equipment safely and efficiently.
• Accurately complete work orders, service tickets, and invoices; verify customer credit and billing adjustments.
• Assist in inventory management using Toolbox and Basys.
