Job summary

Southern Tire Mart is seeking a tire service professional to mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires across a range of vehicle types. The role involves diagnosing issues on commercial fleets, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring safe operation of service trucks on calls.

Responsibilities include stock handling, TPMS upkeep, and strict adherence to safety procedures while supporting ongoing service efforts and company standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old; 21+ to drive.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Experience with heavy-duty/commercial tires preferred but not required.
• Able to lift/move tires weighing 30–250 lbs with/without help.
• Able to perform repetitive physical tasks including bending and lifting.
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires for passenger and commercial vehicles.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial vehicles.
• Perform fleet inspections and routine maintenance checks.
• Operate company vehicles safely and follow traffic regulations.
• Respond to service calls using a service truck when needed.
• Load/unload inventory and assist with stock counts.
• Use and maintain TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems).
• Follow safety procedures, training guidelines, and policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
