Job summary

Southern Tire Mart is seeking a Tire Technician to mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires for passenger, light truck, and heavy trucks. You will troubleshoot commercial vehicles, perform fleet inspections, and assist with stock counts while adhering to safety procedures.

Qualified applicants have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift up to 250 lbs. Flexible availability including evenings and weekends is required; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Be 18+ years old; 21+ to drive.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Experience with heavy-duty/commercial tires preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires for passenger, light truck, heavy truck, and industrial vehicles.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial vehicles as needed.
• Perform fleet inspections and routine maintenance checks.

Skills

Valid driver's license

Clean driving record

Heavy-duty tire experience (preferred)

Ability to lift 30–250 lbs
