Job summary

Waukegan Tire is seeking a Tire Technician to perform tire mounting, balancing, rotations, and related automotive services in a fast-paced shop environment.

The role requires tire/auto service experience, a valid driver\'s license, and the ability to lift 70 lbs. Weekend availability is a plus. We offer competitive pay with overtime and comprehensive benefits to support growth within the team.

Qualifications

• Automotive service experience preferred.
• Valid driver\'s license with clean driving record.
• Physically able to lift 70 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Flexible availability, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, balance, and rotate tires.
• Repair flats and inflate to spec.
• Test, replace, register, and reset TPMS sensors.
• Perform oil changes and replace filters.
• Conduct visual inspections and document issues.
• Test and install batteries.
• Stock inventory and maintain shop cleanliness and safety standards.
• Work with your team to deliver fast, accurate service.
• Progress into light mechanical services as skills grow.

Tire Technicians

• Mount, dismount, balance, and rotate tires
